-sigh- Valentines is very near. I would normally not celebrate it since it still feels like it would be yet another lonely, dateless valentines. And don’t tell me I should be dating, I should go out with -insert whoever’s name here- because in all honesty, there is no guarantee that I would have a valentine date or that I would have someone to love and call mine.

Yeah! It Worked!!!

I hate it when a plugin suddenly no longer works because of a wordpress update. And the Lightbox plugin is one of my favorite plugins that suddenly doesn’t work anymore after upgrading to Ella.

Egad, 3 posts in 1 day… talk about blabbing too much. :roll:

Back to the plugin.. I visited the plugin’s page and the author hasn’t updated for Ella yet. There was a visitor there though, Alan, who was able to figure out what to do with the first part…

he changed a part lightbox-plugin.php from this:

Google Announces Tool to Check Backlinks

We’ve been used to checking a sample list of our backlinks on Google using the link: operator. Now Google Webmaster Central has announced a tool that could provide a much bigger list of backlinks to website owners of how their site performs. This is like the Yahoo Site Explorer but you would have to verify that you are the website owner to be able to access information about the website.

Paper Flowers

I haven’t introduced my theme officially yet. I want to for the record.

I call it paper flowers. Greatly influenced/inspired by Audrey Kawasaki‘s wooden artworks. The illustration is entirely hers, I just personalized it a bit. I have yet to finish the whole theme since I’m still playing with it, I just felt like putting it up already since the default wordpress theme was getting me nauseous already. No offense intended, I just want a personalized theme pronto :oops:

Organizing my schedule and ordering my tasks comes natural to me when I know I’d be swamped with activities but today, I am distracted for some reasons. Why joiz.be Went Bye Bye

Some have been asking me where joiz.be went to and so here is the long story of how my domain made a magical disappearing act.

Joiz.be disappearance started at the night of December 28. Hosting problem? Unpaid dues? Hacked? Joiz’s mood swings?

No the problem wasn’t my hosting. My hosting has been very kind to me during the holidays, no big downtimes whatsoever. I wasn’t hacked either (who hacks personal blogs?). It’s the holidays and although I am tired from all the holiday fuzz, I was not having major mood swings that would make me delete everything I’ve made on my website. So what caused the hullabaloo? The domain name itself.

Alas 2007 is here, and what better way to celebrate the new year but with a lot of fireworks!

As people close to me would know many things have changed since this year came, one of those changes is my domain name! I’ll explain that later…

I’m now a .org! I’m an organization now! -grins sheepishly- heh but seriously, what happened? You can read the long story later but to cut the long story short, the domain was registered in a lame registrar. “Lame” is an understatement by the way.

John tagged me. Boy, John, congratulations for making my day a bit tough on the gray matter :lol: Didn’t know about this thing but I’ll play along… Now I have to think up five things you don’t know about me… hmmm….

  1. I sketch images, people, places and I have a collection of my sketches hidden in my old room. My first “major” sketch was the Last Supper when I was in grade two… My mom said they didn’t know I had talent.
  2. I used to be boyish. I think I still am sometimes, but during high school, you wouldn’t catch me dead with a skirt on outside the school premises.

My Buddy’s Wedding Day

Today will be my best buddy’s, Matthew, wedding day with Camille. *sigh* I know I’m feeling a mix of emotions and I really don’t know if I’m more on happy or more on the sad… Although I could say, yes! I’m envious! :cries: :sweat: hehe

We have been friends for what… more than 6 years? And I’ve seen him brave out a lot of trials specially the case with his ex-girlfriend and mother to his eldest daughter. I wonder where that girl went to?
