I Felt Nothing

When I saw you in the crowd, I felt nothing. Just a relief that I finally found where you were waiting for me. Even if I was already two hours late, you smiled at me. I grinned back.

I’m not a big fan of your new hairstyle. Your hair is too thick, and I liked your Asian hairstyle better. Nonetheless, you’ve always had beautiful hair so I stroked a section of it and commented that it’s getting longer. How I wish I could keep running my hand through your hair, but I didn’t.

My Birthday/Holiday/Everyday Wish List

These are the stuff I would most likely purchase or get for myself if I knew where to find them, and if they were easily accessible to me. Yes, all of the things in my wish list are from the material world.

I also wish for money to pay for my kid’s education, a car, a house near the beach in Greece, etcetera etcetera… But I don’t expect friends to buy those for me. Ano ako siniswerte? Although I do hope these could be found, given for free to me. Heeee~ what?

Letter From The Ghost of Joiz Past

This was taken out of my real journal (yeah, I have one, got a problem with that?). The names were changed to keep my friend’s identity somehow under the radar. I don’t remember when I wrote this entry exactly because I didn’t put a date on the page. I do know this entry was written sometime mid-2010, so that isn’t so long ago.

+ + +

Dear future Joiz,

I’m writing you this to remind us of how you were when you were just 25 years old. I/we/you don’t know how to refer to ourselves, so for consistency’s sake, “you” will be used.
